People visit the Golden Temple at morning, during the day, through the evening, and at night. In the night, there is a ceremony where the Guru Granth Sahib, the Holy Book of Sikhism is carried away from the Darbar Sahib for a few hours of rest, and a number of devotees want to take part in this ceremony.
