Interlaken is a beautiful town in Switzerland, that serves as the base for those who want to visit the mountain resort of Jungfrau. It is beautiful by itself and has this river (Aare river) running through it, looking even more beautiful in this abstract image. The Aare river starts and ends within Switzerland, covering a length of 295 kilometers before it joins the Rhine and during this journey, there are a total of 40 hydroelectric dams on it. Near Interlaken, the river first expands into Lake Brienz, and then moves to Lake Thun.
