A view of one of the fountains in Trafalgar Square

This is a view of one of the fountains in Trafalgar Square. These are pretty large fountains, with a small pool surrounding them; on hot days, they can be a godsend. Just behind the fountain, you can see a building with the Flag of South Africa (South Africa House, the South African high commission) - there were plenty of anti-apartheid demonstrations here during the time when South Africa was ruled on the basis of apartheid.
