Photo depicting the reconstruction work at the Karnak temple in Luxor
This is a photo inside the museum at the Karnak temple in Luxor, which depicts the restoration work carried out at the Great Hypostyle Hall in the Karnak temple. The Hall covers a huge 50,000 sq feet area, whose roof has fallen, but the pillars are still standing. The hall is located within the precint of Amon-Re, and is one of the most spectacular parts of the Karnak temple, making you wonder at those ancient builders who managed to build such huge and spectacular structures.
