View of the front pylon of the Great Karnak temple at Luxor in Egypt
The Great Karnak temple in Luxor is a magnificent structure, built by a number of pharaohs over the years. Not all the parts of the temple are open for tourists, and it is supposed to take a number of days to cover if you take a careful look at the archaeology and the remains. This photo shows the large structure that is visible to tourists once you enter the complex, and is visible from quite a distance.
