In previous photos, I have been showing images that relate to the statues of the Colossi of Memnon, a pair of statues outside Luxor that were meant to be the gate keepers for a huge temple complex. However, with the effect of the Nile, and due to stones being used by other pharaohs, there is nothing left of the temple complex.
