When I see a bit sheet of glass, there is always the curiosity about whether I can capture both the inside of the glass and the outside (in this case, the road). This is a shop in London, and if you look closely, you can see both the inside and the outside of the shop very easily.

There are these large lions in Trafalgar Square, and it is a favorite pastime for tourists to climb these large lions and then get their photographs taken like that.
It sometimes does not make sense. The roundabout of Trafalgar Square can get fairly busy, and yet the middle section of the roundabout is pretty large (as you can see in this photo).
London can get pretty crowded, and here is another example of that. You can see lots of vehicles and tourists (and Londoners) all around.
These were part of the photos that I took from Trafalgar Square. I stood there and started shooting and turning around, trying to create a panorama, and even though the panorama did not come out well, I do like these photos.

This is a statue of Field Marshal Earl Haig in front of Whitehall in London (wikipedia). After the war Haig was often criticised for issuing orders which led to excessive casualties of British troops under his command, particularly on the Western Front, earning him the nickname "Butcher of the Somme". He was also one of the leading generals of the British Army during the conquest of the German Army in WW 1.
During the Second World War, most of the able bodied men were recruited for the military services and other such services related to the war effort, and women had to step up for a major part of the effort to keep the country running; doing such services such as bus drivers, conductors to even forming an all female defense force.

This is another view of Westminster Abbey. The structure looks beautiful, and it has been standing for so many centuries, so the maintenance is even more superb.
Also known as Westminster Central Hall (wikipedia), the building is a multi-purpose building, a Methodist church, a conference and exhibition centre, an art gallery, an office building, and a tourist attraction. The building was built in 1912 to mark the centenary of John Wesley's death.
