Large number of fish breaking the surface of the Holy Sarovar o the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar

Large number of fish breaking the surface of the Holy Sarovar o the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar
The sarovar of the Golden Temple complex is teeming with fish (the varieties are not very clear to me though), with both golden colored fish and black-grey colored fish being found very easily (you go near the tank and you will see these fish coming to the surface). In this photo, you can find a large number of fish at the surface of the water.

View of one of the entrances to the Golden Temple compound along with a number of devotees in the city of Amritsar
One of the main entrances to the Holy Golden Temple compound, you can see a steady stream of devotees making their way through the grand gate. And of course, you will always see the presence of the water of the Sarovar, since it occupies a huge chunk of the overall compound.

Close up view of the trees of the Bera Baba Buddhaji inside the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar
A close up view of the Bera Baba Buddhaji inside the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar. These are bers or the jujube trees, part of the oldest parts of the Golden Temple complex, from before the construction of the Darbar Sahib. It was the place where Baba Buddhaji supervised the construction of the Golden Temple, with the ber tree providing shade during the construction. It is part of the 3 ber trees have a great spiritual significance.

View of the Darbar Sahib along with the causeway in the middle of the sarovar, with devotees thronging the causeway in the Golden Temple in Amritsar
A view of the Darbar Sahib with the Golden dome covered structure (where the eternal Guru of the Sikh religion, the Guru Granth Sahib is placed); this is reached by a causeway that allows people to pass through the sarovar. In this case, the causeway is full of devotees.

The Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar at night, with lights reflecting in the holy sarovar surrounding it

The Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar at night, with lights reflecting in the holy sarovar surrounding it
A view of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, in the middle of the sarovar (water tank) surrounding it. There is a causeway linking the temple middle with the outside of the sarovar, and this causeway is used by the devotees to pray at the shrine (and at the Guru Granth Sahib) located at the center. At night, the reflection of the light gives an overall beautiful presence.

View of the Golden Temple in Amitsar from an angle, along with a view of minarets in the back
A view of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, as seen from an angle. In this photo, you are able to see the Golden Temple at night, from an angle at the farthest end of the sarovar. In this photo, you can also see the Minars of the Ramgarhia Bunga, with a huge view of the water of the sarovar. The reflection of the lighted Golden Temple in the water looks beautiful.
