My favourite photos along with some background. These photos are mostly of some sceneries, sky and light shows, a lot of nature shots including mountains / wooded areas, and a general assortment of other photos. I have had a lot of fun while taking these photos and looking at them even now, gives a good feeling. Some of these photos show what can do done from normal photos, converting them into works of art, using photoshop and other tools.
In San Francisco, the Golden Gate is one of the most iconic monuments and tourist destinations. It looks spectacular, especially when taken from a distance, and where there is a faint mist over the water. This photo was taken with a Olympus 750UZ and on a ferry that takes people around the harbour in an hour.

This is not a photo of a cloud; instead it's a photo taken while standing on the edge of the Dalai Temple in Mcleodganj. An example of the mist that is there when you are going in the rainy season. It was a nice view, because sometimes the mist would part and you could get a glimpse of the distant view.

This is a view of the surrounding lower region from Neddi, near Dharamshala. The place is at a height, and when you go in the rainy season, there is a lot of mist (basically low-hanging clouds as well). It gives a very beautiful appearance, and the whole place looks nice, like out of a painting.
