In this photo, you can see a water fountain that has multiple levels in which water cascades at different levels. There are small stones, rocks, but right now, because of the high amount of heat, water was not flowing. it could be that this was because the water would start flowing only in the evening.

Near the Great Pyramids, there is a panorama point where all the 3 Great Pyramids are visible. At this panorama point, the desert has just started, and there are plenty of people with camels (which gets tourists a paid ride into the desert for 10 minutes) waiting for tourists to climb and enjoy.

Near the pyramids, there are a number of decorated camels. These are meant for tourists to take a short ride near the pyramids, and in the desert. Getting photographed riding one of these camels is a favorite pastime.

Jaipur has a thriving market, a older market section. This is a well preserved and very crowded market section, with the shops all following the same design (with the color and the naming structure of the shop remaining the same). This is a photo, taken from inside a car (and you can see the reflection in the glass) that shows some of the decorated gateways that leads to the market area.

Preparing for a celebration inside the Jaipur City Palace

The Jaipur City Palace is a very popular tourist location in the state of Rajasthan, India. A large number of people come here on a regular basis, and it is one of the tourist spots in Jaipur to visit. In this particular case, the staff of the resort are preparing for a celebration to be held there later in the evening, and it involves stringing bright red banners as part of the decorations.

The Jaipur City Palace is a magnificent building, and is very well maintained. Here, you can see this image of a long corridor, with openings on either side, and painted in soothing off-white and cream colors. The floor is inlaid with designs and colored stones.

This door was in a slightly inside section of the Jaipur City Palace, and it was also hot, hence there were few tourists in this section at this point of time. I took this opportunity to take some photos of this well decorated door.

Take a look at this section of the Jaipur City Palace that is visible; it is very wonderfully decorated with a flower and leaf design motif; and right next to that, you can see a pigeon sitting right next to it. Pigeons can be found in huge numbers in this structure.
