My favourite photos along with some background. These photos are mostly of some sceneries, sky and light shows, a lot of nature shots including mountains / wooded areas, and a general assortment of other photos. I have had a lot of fun while taking these photos and looking at them even now, gives a good feeling. Some of these photos show what can do done from normal photos, converting them into works of art, using photoshop and other tools.

It was a tiring day, we had taken a long drive to reach Sariska from Delhi, and were on the way back. And then we found out about this lake, just a few kilometers off the main highway, and off we went. Boating on this lake was so peaceful, seemed to take away all the tiredness we felt.

This is the view of the front of the Siva Oasis Resort in Behror in Rajasthan, India. This place looks extremely beautiful, and you can see how well maintained this actually is.
This photo was taken in the early morning around 10 AM, and there was already enough light that you can see things very clearly, with a small water channel sorrounded by a green area and with a small bridge on top.

Another photograph from Sariska, the wildlife sanctuary in Rajasthan, India. This is a hot day, and you can see these langurs peacefully drinking water from a water hole. Don't they look so much in need of water.
Langurs are very common in India. Read more about them here. When one is travelling through Sariska on the road running through the sanctuary, can see them in large groups all over.

This is a view from the Taj. It shows the fountains in front of the Taj as well as the monument that is the entrance to the Taj at the end. I also wanted to capture the droplets of water from the fountain, and if you click on the image to see a bigger detail, you will notice the droplets of water individually.
I was mentioning in my previous post about a swimming pool in the midst of the Lake View Palace resort. Take a look at the pool. Does it not look beautiful ? And it actually looks like this in the real version as well, this is not a photo trick.
