Photo of the Darbar Sahib and the sarovar as seen from a distance (and in portrait view)

The Golden Temple really looks incredible, and in this photo, you can see the beautiful golden covered structure in the middle of the Holy sarovar. The rest of the buildings in the complex are all white, making a deep contrast with the Golden color of the Darbar Sahib.

Gold plated lamp posts at the edge of the causeway inside the Golden Temple in Amritsar

The marble causeway that leads to the Darbar Sahib in the middle of the causeway has these seemingly gold-encrusted lamp posts all along the edge. There are a large number of such lamp posts all along the edge. Of course, I did not ask anybody whether these were gold plated or not.
