The Sphinx and the Great Pyramid in one photo, without a sense of scale

Photos can give you a very unrealistic portrayal of things, such as this photo that shows the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramid in the same photo. However, there a huge difference in scale, with the Pyramid being much much larger than the Sphinx, something which is not apparent in this photo.

A close view of the domes of the Saladin Citadel in Cairo. This structure was built many centuries back, and is maintained very well (important since this is a prime tourist destination).

Another view of the structure inside the Jaipur City Palace

The photo is of a building that I have covered already, a different view of the central structure inside the Jaipur City Palace. This is a straight view, with the light blue sky in the background, and a few people in the foreground in front of the structure.

This is a view of the Taj, from the side. The photo includes the base platform on which the super (upper) structure of the Taj is built. The lighting conditions, including the marble, somehow make the structures seem a bit ethereal.

Tip: Always explore the angles from which you can take a photo of beautiful structures. It is not always necessary that you take a regular photo like everyone else does, explore a bit, look at the various side including from the bottom, and see whether you can get a good (as well as a unique) view.

This is a view of the Taj Mahal, as seen from the Agra Fort across the river Yamuna. The emperor who built the Taj Mahal, Shahjahan, was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb in the Fort after taking over power, and he could only see the Taj from this distance.

View inside and outside a shop

When I see a bit sheet of glass, there is always the curiosity about whether I can capture both the inside of the glass and the outside (in this case, the road). This is a shop in London, and if you look closely, you can see both the inside and the outside of the shop very easily.
