The Sphinx, one of the most famous symbols of Egypt. The Sphinx has stood for many millennium, and the face of the Sphinx is famous the world over. The Sphinx is located right next to the Great Pyramid.

The concept is that Cairo is a hot place, and the pyramids are located in the desert. However, as you can see in this photo, the top of the Great Pyramid is covered by fog, and this was early morning (around 10 in the morning).

The desert can be seen at one side of the pyramids, but the suburb of Giza is a fast developing area where construction is happening right next to the Pyramids.
