My favourite photos along with some background. These photos are mostly of some sceneries, sky and light shows, a lot of nature shots including mountains / wooded areas, and a general assortment of other photos. I have had a lot of fun while taking these photos and looking at them even now, gives a good feeling. Some of these photos show what can do done from normal photos, converting them into works of art, using photoshop and other tools.
This is the very high gate of the entrance to the Fatehpur Sikri saint's compound, and is supposed to be one of the highest such gates in the world. It is so tall that to do regular cleaning is a touch task, and in this photo, the various dark spots are actually bee hives.

This is a view of the parking lot of Fatehpur Sikri from the main entrance area. You can get an idea of the height difference between the main entrance and the parking lot through this picture, and almost all of this are steps that you have to climb.

This is a photo of the giant gate at Fatehpur Sikri. It is supposed to be one of the largest gates (archways) of its kind in the world, and it is very difficult to get a photo of the gate when people are not there.
