The interlocking between the stones of a small temple near The Sphinx

The construction of the ancient times of the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid were superb indeed. Without mortar, they built great structures; this joint is a good example of their abilities. Here, they use interlocking of stones at different points to have a sound and robust structure.
