A giant statue just outside the door of the Egyptian Museum

The history of ancient Egypt has a number of gods and their symbols with many mysteries such as the Sphinx, and then the reverence of animals such as the baboon (since it was supposed to be close to the sun god). This is a photo of such a symbol just outside the gate of the Egyptian museum.
