The parking for the Karnak temple in Luxor leads to a hall where tourists can sit for some time, and even see some photos and exhibits of the reconstruction effort that went in to try and restore this magnificent temple to its previous glory. It is also mandatory to go through this hall since the security check happens in this temple.
