When you get closer to the Karnak temple in Luxor, then you realize the huge nature of the structure of the temple and admire how the ancient rulers got such structures built, that too with them lasting for millenia. It is only in recent times that they have been cared for, but over the years, they have been neglected, blasted by sandstorms, suffered earthquakes, and many other problems that could impact structures very heavily.
